Legal Translations Ltd. (the "Company" or "we") respects the privacy of the users of its website (the "Website"). This policy details the manner of collection, use, and protection of your personal information.


Consent and General Provisions
•   By accessing or using the Website, the user ("you") hereby consents to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
•  You are under no legal obligation to provide personal information; however, non- provision of such information may prevent us from providing you certain services.
•   We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy from time to time; in the event of such change, we will post the revised policy on the Website, indicating its date. The updated policy shall take effect as of the date of posting, unless otherwise stated therein. We recommend reviewing the Privacy Policy from time to time. Your continued use of the Website following the publication of an updated policy constitutes your consent thereto. 
•  This Privacy Policy is drafted in the masculine gender for convenience purposes only and is intended for all genders. Furthermore, any reference in the singular shall also refer to the plural, and vice versa, as the context may require.


Information We Collect

  • Voluntarily-Provided Information in the "Contact us" form: First name, last name, email address, mobile number, the content of your inquiry, files attached to the inquiry as provided by you via the "Contact us" form, and any additional information you choose to provide. 

  • In the event that you provide us with personal information relating to third parties, you represent that you have obtained their explicit consent to provide such information in accordance with applicable law, and that you are authorized to provide us with such information. You shall bear sole responsibility in this regard. 

  • Technical (Automated) Information: IP address, which may be considered indirectly identifying information, browser type, browsing times, and anonymous statistical data on how the Website is used.

Cookies and Analytics Services

  • The Website uses cookies and Google Analytics for operational, information security, and statistical analysis purposes.

  • Cookies are used for technical identification only and are not used by the Company for direct personal identification or for remarketing or direct marketing purposes.

  • Cookies can be blocked or deleted through the browser settings, but doing so may impair the functionality of the website.

  • For further information on how Google collects and processes data, please refer to Google’s privacy policy.

 

Documents and Confidentiality 

  • The Website is also used for uploading documents to receive a price quote for legal translation services, and we acknowledge the sensitivity of these documents. Documents delivered to us will be used exclusively for the purpose of handling the inquiry, preparing a price quote, and performing the services, if commissioned. 

  • Access to the documents will be limited, as much as possible, to the relevant persons required to handle the inquiry or perform the work, including IT personnel, translators, editors, or subcontractors, who are subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations.

Use and Disclosure of Information with or to Third Parties
• The information shall be used solely for the purposes for which it was provided (responding to your inquiry) and for the ongoing maintenance of the Website.
• Information will not be disclosed to third parties, unless such disclosure is required under one of the following circumstances:

  • To the Website's service providers (e.g., hosting services).

  • To translators, editors, and subcontractors, to the extent required for the purpose of examining the inquiry, preparing a price quote, or performing the service.

  • In the event of a merger or change of ownership of the Company.

  • Pursuant to a judicial order or legal requirement.

  • To protect the rights of the Company and its officers.


International Data Transfers
The information may be stored on cloud servers outside of Israel, including in countries where the standard of protection of personal information may be lower than in Israel. The transfer of such information shall be carried out while taking customary measures to ensure an adequate level of protection for the information, in accordance with the provisions of the law.

User Rights

  • Pursuant to the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981, and the regulations promulgated thereunder, users are entitled to review information about them in the Company's databases and to request the correction or deletion of such information if it is inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated.

  • Send any such requests to office@translaw.co.il, and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.


Minors 
The Website is not intended for minors under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information of minors. If you are a parent or legal guardian of a minor under the age of 18 and believe that the minor is using the Website or has provided us with personal information, please notify us as soon as possible. In the event of an inquiry as a parent or guardian, we may request additional information to verify your identity and establish your relationship with the minor.


Data Security and Disclaimer of Liability

  • The Company implements technological and organizational security measures in accordance with legal requirements and industry standards. However, no digital environment is entirely immune to unauthorized access.

  • The Company shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damage resulting from the exposure of information, errors, unauthorized third-party access, or events beyond its reasonable control, including without limitation, communication failures or cybersecurity breaches.

  • Use of the Website is at the user’s sole risk, and the user hereby waives any claim, demand, or suit against the Company in connection therewith.


Third-Party Links

  • The Website may contain links to third-party websites and/or applications.

  • The Company has no control over such websites and applications or their collection or processing of personal information, and is not responsible for their content or privacy practices. 

  • This policy does not apply to actions taken on external platforms, and users are advised to review the terms of use and privacy policy of any external website.
