Jenny Levin

Jenny is the exception that proves the rule. An affiliate of Legal Translations Ltd. since 2012, Jenny, who is not an attorney, adds English copywriting and editing to the firm’s portfolio of services. She translates non-legal content for clients keen to have a creative eye review and enhance their corporate and online content as part of the translation process.

After managing a state-of-the-art factory for Iscar, Israel’s leading industrial company, Jenny moved on to international marketing communication management roles with hi-tech companies in Israel and the UK, where she lived for many years. While in London, she worked across the EU as Public Relations Manager to UK and US hi-tech and telecommunication companies, managing PR campaigns and writing speeches, articles, and corporate content.

Tiring of technology, Jenny shifted gear and joined legal publishing firm Sweet and Maxwell (acquired by Thomson Reuters). Here she researched pending UK and EU legislation, writing plain English briefs on forthcoming regulations, gaining experience in business formation, employment, health and safety, IP, product liability, data protection, and sector-specific legislation.

Having studied business management at Haifa University, Jenny used her years in England creatively, studying public relations, journalism, and creative writing.

Born in South Africa, but in Israel for decades, Jenny had to teach herself (and her British computer!) American English as Israel has chosen US style and spelling as its benchmark.
